ACQUISITION
Samtheo invests in diverse technology from universities, academic centers, research institutions, medical foundations and unaffiliated scientists as well as considers acquisitions from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Samtheo seeks to acquire promising technology in any stage of development, i.e., preclinical, clinical, approved or in-market, for indications in any medical specialty, particularly a technology with applications in life-threatening illnesses with unmet medical needs. The acquisition of inventions and intellectual property may be by assignment or license arrangements, as well as by collaboration through partnerships, spin-outs and joint ventures.

DEVELOPMENT
Samtheo performs product development through all necessary phases, initially with support from vendors through outsourcing, and gradually through in-house development activities as the portfolio grows. This strategy ensures efficient pipeline development and successful global regulatory approval of drug products. Development is shared through collaborations with acquisition and/or commercialization partners. Strategic alliances with companies dedicated to scientific excellence that provide a good strategic fit are considered. Samtheo also ensures patent protection, enhancement and expansion.

COMMERCIALIZATION
Samtheo explores commercialization with potential partners in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Strategic alliances and collaborations with leading companies are pursued in order to accelerate commercialization of all products. Commercialization is diversified by securing multiple strategic alliance partners based upon applications, indications or global regions. Samtheo intends to have products and market share in many medical specialties, which will provide larger market coverage and greater opportunity, as well as a diverse portfolio of companies and products that compete favorably with those of other leaders in the industry.
